We will cut your front edge for free
One visit, no charge, nothing to sign. You see the finish on your own property and decide from there.
Takes about five minutes. We do not need you home.
The free edge
How it works
You tell us the address
Three questions on this page. Nothing else needed.
We cut the front edge
The strip along your path or drive, cut and blown clean. No charge, no obligation, no one has to be home.
You decide
If you want the rest of it kept that way, we price your property and tell you when your street opens. If not, that is the end of it.
Who turns up
Alex does the work
Ten years in landscaping and lawn care. Decks, fences, retaining walls, and every kind of section Central Auckland has.
The same person edges your lawn every visit. Not a roster, not a franchise, not whoever was free that morning.
That is also why the book is capped. There is a limit to how many properties one person can keep to this standard, and taking more than that is how the finish slips.
Every visit
The same finish, every time
Anyone can cut grass. The difference shows at the boundary — where the lawn meets the path, the fence, the garden bed.
- A full mow
- Edges cut along paths, gardens and fences
- Hard surfaces blown clean
- Clippings mulched or taken away
- A photo sent when we leave
Not happy with a visit? Tell us within 24 hours and we come back and put it right, at no charge.
What it costs
One number, and it does not move
We measure your property properly rather than guessing from the footpath. You get one figure, including GST. No hourly rate, no call-out fee, no asterisk.
The same price in July as in November. Grass grows less in winter and we still come — that is already in the number, so nothing changes on your bill when the season does.
Pay monthly, or prepay. Both are available and neither changes what gets done.
Where we are opening
Central Auckland sections
Villa and bungalow sections, mostly small, mostly awkward to get a trailer near. That is the work we are set up for. Routes open suburb by suburb and each one takes a limited number of properties.

Book the free edge
Three questions
That is the whole form. We only need enough to find the property and know what we are walking up to.
Booked
You are on the list
We have the address. While you are here — anything else you want done? Entirely optional, and it helps us price the property properly if you do go ahead.
Thanks
That is everything
We will be in touch before we come. If you would rather talk it through, call 022 570 7147.
Before you ask
The usual questions
Is the free edge really free?
Yes. One visit, the front edge along your path or drive, cut and blown clean. No charge, nothing to sign, and no one has to be home. It is how we show you the finish instead of describing it.
What if it rains?
Light rain, we still come — it is Auckland, after all. If it is heavy or the ground is waterlogged we move you to the next suitable day and tell you the new day that morning.
What happens in winter?
We keep coming. Grass grows more slowly, so visits stretch out rather than stop, and that is already built into the price. Your bill does not change when the season does.
What if my lawn is badly overgrown?
Tell us on the form and we will say so honestly. A section that has got away needs a reset cut first, which is priced separately and only once. After that it is priced like any well-kept lawn.
Do I have to be home?
No. We need to get in — a gate code, an unlocked side gate, or a dog put inside. Tell us what is needed and we work around it.
Am I locked in?
No. Change your frequency, pause, or stop with reasonable notice. Anything prepaid gets worked out fairly. We are not here to trap you.
Why is the book capped?
Because one person does the work. There is a limit to how many properties can be kept to this standard on a fixed route, and taking more than that is exactly how a lawn service starts missing days.
